We are a growing intellectual property law firm in Seattle, Washington, with a strong emphasis and background in preparing patent applications in scientifically and technically demanding fields. Our fundamental goal is to provide highest quality legal services at reasonable cost, and to engender enjoyable, interesting, client-driven, and long-term relationships.

We feel that the patent process is interesting, and can actually be fun for both patent attorneys and for clients.

We seek to provide honest legal services, and to charge reasonable fees, billing fairly only for tangible work products, including filed patent applications, filed office-action responses, filed appeal briefs, and opinion letters. We are happy to bill on a fixed-fee basis for discrete projects in order to provide predictability, especially in complex scientific and technical projects that we love to undertake.

We know our places, and we respect our clients. We are service providers, and we are here for the long run, because we truly enjoy our jobs. After all, what other job would allow us to interact with world-class scientists and technologists on a daily basis, and to be constantly learning new concepts? We are happy to help educate our clients in the patent process, and willing to provide services that reflect our clients' abilities and willingness to undertake portions of the work involved in filing and prosecuting patent applications. We listen carefully to our clients, and provide the services that they request, but we are not willing to produce anything other than high-quality work.
